Couples & Data Sharing

One of Fapstats' most powerful features is the ability to share activity data between two connected accounts. When you and your partner both use Fapstats, you can link your accounts so that shared activities are tracked for both of you — including XP, statistics, calendar entries, and achievements.

How It Works

The data sharing system is built on top of the Friends system. Here's the concept:

The Connection Model

Let's say Sophia and Janik are a couple, and both use Fapstats.

  1. Sophia has a partner entry called "Janik" in her account
  2. Janik has a partner entry called "Sophia" in his account
  3. They add each other as friends using their friend codes
  4. Sophia links her friend "Janik" to her partner entry "Janik"
  5. Janik links his friend "Sophia" to his partner entry "Sophia"

Now their accounts are fully connected. The system knows that Sophia's partner "Janik" represents Janik's actual user account, and vice versa.

important

Both users must link each other for full bidirectional data sharing. If only one side links, the sharing is limited.

What Happens When Activities Are Shared

Once two accounts are linked through the friend-partner connection:

1. Activities Appear in Both Calendars

When Sophia creates a sex activity and selects "Janik" as a partner:

  • The activity appears in Sophia's calendar (as her own activity)
  • The activity also appears in Janik's calendar (as a participated activity)

2. Both Users Earn XP

  • Sophia earns 500 XP for creating the sex activity
  • Janik also earns 500 XP because he participated in the activity through the partner link

This means the same real-world event gives XP to both people involved.

3. Statistics Count for Both

The activity counts toward both users' statistics:

  • Activity counts
  • Duration totals
  • Orgasm counts
  • Partner-specific stats
  • Time-of-day distributions
  • And more

4. Achievements Progress for Both

Achievement progress (like the Sex achievement, Threesome achievement, etc.) counts participated activities as well. So both users progress their achievements from shared activities.

5. Records Are Shared

Personal records (most activities in a day, longest streak, etc.) include participated activities in the calculation.

Participated Activities — Explained

An activity counts as a "participated activity" for another user when all of these conditions are met:

  1. ✅ The activity was created by a different user (not you)
  2. ✅ The activity has a partner entry that is linked to your account (via the friend-partner connection)
  3. ✅ You and the activity creator have a mutual friendship (both sides are connected)

If any of these conditions is not met, the activity is not shared.

Example
  • Sophia creates a sex activity with partner "Janik"
  • "Janik" (partner) is linked to Janik's user account via the friends system
  • Sophia and Janik are mutual friends
  • ✅ This activity is a "participated activity" for Janik

What Is NOT Shared

  • Masturbation activities are never shared (they are solo by definition)
  • Partners, toys, tags, and locations are personal to each account — only the activity is shared, not the metadata entries
  • If you have shared items from a friend (visible in partners, toys, tags, locations lists), these are read-only views based on the friend's permissions

Setting Up Data Sharing — Step by Step

Here's a complete walkthrough for two users who want to share their activity data:

For User A (e.g., Sophia):

  1. Create a partner entry for your partner (e.g., "Janik") in the Partners section
  2. Get your Friend Code from Settings → Friend Code
  3. Share your friend code with your partner
  4. Add your partner as a friend using their friend code
  5. Wait for them to accept your friend request (or accept theirs)
  6. Once friends, go to the Friend Detail page
  7. Link the friend to your existing partner entry "Janik"

For User B (e.g., Janik):

  1. Do the same steps in reverse — create partner "Sophia", add Sophia as friend, link the friendship to the partner entry

Once Both Sides Are Linked:

  • ✅ Any sex activity either user creates that includes the other as a partner will be shared
  • ✅ Both users earn XP
  • ✅ Both users see the activity in their calendar and statistics
  • ✅ Achievements progress for both

Shared Items (Partners, Toys, Tags, Locations)

When you have a friend with the appropriate permissions enabled, you may see shared items in your lists:

SectionWhat you see
Partners"Shared Partners" section shows your friend's partners (read-only)
Toys"Shared Toys" section shows your friend's toys (read-only)
Tags"Shared Tags" section shows your friend's tags (read-only)
Locations"Shared Locations" section shows your friend's locations (read-only)

These shared items are view-only — you cannot edit or delete them. They depend on the friend permissions your friend has granted you (see Friends → Friend Permissions).

Friend Calendar

You can view a friend's calendar (showing their activities you have access to) from the Friend Detail page. This shows the activities based on the permissions they've granted you (e.g., if they've enabled "View Sex Activities" and/or "View Masturbation Activities").
