Friends
The friends system in Fapstats lets you connect with other users, view their profiles, and share activities between accounts. This is the foundation for the Couples & Data Sharing feature.
How Friendships Work
Fapstats uses a bidirectional friendship model. This means:
- User A sends a friend request to User B
- User B accepts the request
- Both users now have a mutual friendship
Both sides must be connected for the friendship to be active. If either user removes the friendship, it's deleted for both.
Adding a Friend
To add a friend, you need their Friend Code — a unique identifier for every Fapstats account.
Finding Your Friend Code
- Go to Settings
- Tap Friend Code
- Your friend code is displayed and can be copied to share
Sending a Friend Request
- Open the Friends page from the sidebar menu
- Tap the Add Friend button
- Enter your friend's Friend Code
- Tap Send Request
Friend codes are UUIDs (long unique strings). Make sure to copy the full code exactly.
Friend Request Privacy
Each user can control who can send them friend requests in their profile settings:
| Setting | Who can send requests |
|---|---|
| Everyone | Any Fapstats user |
| Friends of Friends | Only users who share a mutual friend with you |
| Nobody | No one can send you friend requests |
There is a limit of 100 pending requests per user (sent or received combined).
Managing Friend Requests
The Friends page has three tabs:
Friends Tab
Shows all your active (mutual) friends with:
- Their display name and gender icon
- Online status
- Option to set as favorite (favorites appear at the top)
Pending Tab
Shows:
- Received requests — You can Accept or Reject them
- Sent requests — You can Cancel them
Blocked Tab
Shows users you've blocked. You can Unblock them from here.
Friend Details
Tap on a friend to see their Friend Detail page, which shows:
- Their profile (name, gender, about me, online status)
- Their partner entry in your account (if linked)
- Keyholding information (if chastity is connected)
- A link to their Friend Calendar (see shared activities)
Friend Permissions
When a friendship is established, a permissions entry is automatically created. You and your friend each have independent permission settings controlling what the other can see:
| Permission | Default | Description |
|---|---|---|
| View Sex Activities | ❌ Off | Can see your sex activities |
| View Masturbation Activities | ❌ Off | Can see your masturbation activities |
| View Chastity | ❌ Off | Can see your chastity status |
| View Partners | ❌ Off | Can see your partners list |
| View Toys | ❌ Off | Can see your toys list |
| View Tags | ❌ Off | Can see your tags list |
| View Locations | ❌ Off | Can see your locations list |
| View Last Launched | ✅ On | Can see when you last opened the app |
| View Mutual Friends | ✅ On | Can see friends you have in common |
Permissions are one-directional. You control what your friend sees of your data, and they control what you see of theirs. These are independent settings.
Blocking a User
If you block a user:
- Any existing friendship between you is automatically deleted (both directions)
- They cannot send you friend requests
- You won't appear on each other's ranked group or leaderboard
- They appear in your Blocked tab
To block someone:
- Go to the friend's detail page
- Tap the Block option
To unblock:
- Go to the Blocked tab on the Friends page
- Tap Unblock next to the user
Linking Friends to Partners
To share activity data, you need to link a friend to one of your partners. This is the key step that enables the Couples & Data Sharing feature.
- Open a friend's detail page
- Link them to an existing partner in your account
- Once linked, any sex activity you create with that partner will also appear in your friend's data (and vice versa)
See Couples & Data Sharing for the full explanation of how linked partners work.
Removing a Friend
To remove a friend:
- Open their friend detail page
- Tap the Remove option
- Confirm the removal
Removing a friend deletes the friendship for both sides. Any data sharing between your accounts through the partner link will stop immediately.
